I met adorable Chloe and her big sister, mom and dad just a few days after she was born in our Brampton studio. They travelled down to us from Richmond Hill for Chloe's Newborn Session. At our pre-session consultation over the phone, Sonia expressed that she would like our most requested shot at any newborn session involving siblings. The first child with their newborn sibling. It is the image that is blown up on our walls and on our cellphones, social media pages, shared with family. For an older sibling it can sometimes be the hardest shot. Although, they may be thrilled about the new baby truth has it that a lot has changed in their life in the last few weeks, or perhaps days depending on when the session is booked. So what does that mean? Well I always like to prepare parents that as much as it is our top priority to get that shot we also have to keep in mind that baby's safety and what our older sibling is willing to do is the most important thing. Especially when they are so young. Baby C's session was one of those sessions. Older sister was under 2 and not entirely cooperative to get that sister sister shot so we had to improvise. The sister images below are photoshopped as we wanted ensure baby was safe at all times due to cooperation. Nevertheless these are images mom and parents and grandparents of these sweet girls will cherish.
